Free book distribution festival has been held in the busy areas of Chandpur city.

Hundreds of students thronged the pavement of Kazi Nazrul Islam Road from the front of Chandpur Al Amin School and College to Chandpur Press Club all day on Thursday.

The local organization 'Purnoy' organized this 'Punthi Sarani Utsav' in collaboration with NCTF.

Siam Patwari, president of Purnoy, said, "Our goal is to give people unconditional free books." Giving everyone the opportunity to read books.

Organized by a group of young literary lovers from Chandpur, the festival is organized by a group of young people of all ages, including students, standing in line with books in hand, some reading, some leaving their own book and taking a new book. Someone is volunteering to organize more than one book.

Ahsan Ullah, former general secretary of Chandpur Press Club, said it was like a free book distribution festival. The whole road was full of books and students. This is like a bookish road.

Md. Tauhidul Islam, founder of Smarter Teaching for All, said such an event had never taken place in Chandpur before. Our purpose is to strengthen the relationship between books and readers.

NCTF Chandpur President Anjaman Ara Aksa thanked those who contributed books to the festival.
